Gaining Ground
-by Bill Romjue
First things first: Thank you.
Last week, you answered our call. On Friday, more than 225 Coloradans accepted the challenge from a group of our most generous donors. The result: We raised $30,000 in a single day.
More good news came this week from a new national poll. Rasmussen Reports shows Andrew gaining ground on every one of his Republican opponents. In the last month, he's gained two percentage points on Tom Wiens, three points on Ken Buck, and four points on Jane Norton. Despite a million-dollar television buy, Andrew's Democratic opponent has lost ground during the same period.
Andrew now ranks as the most popular candidate in the race, with a net favorable rating of 12 points. That's two points better than Buck, four points better than Wiens, five points better than Norton, and 12 points better than Bennet.
Contribute $50, $100 or $500 to send the strongest Democrat into battle this fall.
Our grassroots campaign is growing every day. More than 400 supporters have signed up to host house parties. (Email houseparty@andrewromanoff.com if you would like to join them.)
Coloradans deserve a champion in the U.S. Senate. That's who Andrew is: A leader who built the first Democratic majority in 30 years. A fighter who took on the most powerful special interests in the Statehouse. A man who will bring the courage of our convictions to Washington, D.C.
Now Andrew needs you. We just ordered our first batch of yard signs, and the bill is coming due.
Fill a block for $50. Double your coverage for $100. Adopt a neighborhood for $500.
Your investment will help us win this race -- one house at a time. Thanks again!
Sincerely,
