Momentum for Romanoff - Andrew hits the national airwaves

03/11/2010 - With just 5 days until caucus, the momentum continues to grow behind Andrew’s campaign. This week, more than 170 current and former local elected officials endorsed Andrew (see the full release below) and today  Andrew will appear on nationally broadcast television and radio.

Tune in this morning to Ed Schultz at 11am to hear Andrew discuss the race on AM 760 along the front range or 107.3 FM out of Steamboat Springs. You can also listen to Ed’s show live online at www.am760.net, on XM Satellite Channel 167 or Sirius Satellite Channel 146.

This afternoon Andrew will appear on MSNBC’s Hardball which airs at 3pm and 5pm MST.

Local Leaders Stand With Romanoff

U.S. Senate candidate Andrew Romanoff was endorsed today by more than 170 current and former local elected officials from around Colorado.

"Our campaign is based on Main Street, not on Wall Street," Romanoff said. "I'm proud to earn support from the men and women who run Colorado's cities and counties. While Washington dithers, these local leaders are taking charge. In DC, they pass the buck; in Colorado, we pay the bills. We know how to balance a budget and get things done -- that's a lesson Congress still needs to learn." 

Romanoff's roster of endorsers represent another sign of his strength statewide as polls show Romanoff continuing to outperform his Democratic opponent in match-ups with the Republicans; Romanoff has surged into a statistical tie with all three of the leading GOP candidates.
